1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing our website and using our mobile bartending services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. SERVICES PROVIDED

The Side Bar provides professional mobile bartending services for private and corporate events. Our services include:

  • Professional bartenders

  • Custom drink menus

  • Bar setup and breakdown

  • Serving of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

  • Vintage trailer and/or pop-up custom bar rental

3. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Booking Process

  • All bookings must be made at least 30 days in advance, unless otherwise agreed upon

  • A signed contract and deposit are required to secure your date

  • Final guest count must be confirmed 15 days before the event

Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at booking

  • Final payment is due 30 days before the event

  • We accept credit cards, checks, and electronic payments

  • Late payments may incur a fee of 7% per day

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before the event: deposit is forfeited

  • Cancellations 15-29 days before the event: 50% of total fee is charged

  • Cancellations 0-14 days before the event: 100% of total fee is charged

  • The Side Bar reserves the right to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided

5. ALCOHOL SERVICE POLICY

  • We comply with all local and state liquor laws

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated

  • Valid ID is required for all guests consuming alcohol

  • Client is responsible for obtaining any required permits/licenses for alcohol service

  • We do not serve alcohol to minors under any circumstances

6. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate event information

  • Secure appropriate venue permissions for alcohol service

  • Ensure guests behave responsibly

  • Provide access to water and adequate space for bar setup

  • Assume liability for guest behavior after alcohol consumption

7. LIABILITY

  • The Side Bar maintains liability insurance for our services

  • We are not responsible for:

    • Guest misconduct

    • Property damage not directly caused by our staff

    • Incidents occurring after our contracted service hours

    • Allergic reactions to consumed beverages

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of The Side Bar and protected by copyright laws.

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Side Bar, its employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party shall be liable for failures or delays resulting from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiation

  2. Mediation

  3. Binding arbitration in San Diego, CA

13. MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.

14. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
